Cybel Corp. runs this website for the restaurant at 2735 5th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33713. This page describes what the website actually does with your information, which is less than most restaurant websites do.

• We collect what you type into our catering and private event inquiry forms, and nothing else.
• This site runs no advertising pixels. It uses Google Analytics, and only if you switch it on: nothing is requested from Google until you do.
• We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with advertisers.

Two forms on this site collect personal information, and both of them work the same way: what you submit is emailed to the restaurant. Nothing is written to a database, and this website keeps no customer records at all.

The catering inquiry form collects your name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to give one, the date of your event, your headcount, the package you are interested in, and anything you write in the message box.

The private events inquiry form collects your name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to give one, the date of your event, your guest count, the occasion, which space you would prefer, and anything you write in the message box.

Both are sent as an email to cybelrestaurant@gmail.com, addressed so that a reply goes straight back to you. If you email us or call us directly, we have whatever you chose to tell us in that message or on that call.

The mailing list box in the footer does not currently send anywhere. The address you type into it stays in your browser and is not transmitted or stored.

Our web host records the ordinary technical details of every request: the IP address it came from, the browser and device it identifies as, which page was asked for, and when. That is how the site gets delivered and how abuse gets blocked. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you, and our host keeps them for 30 days.

Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights are switched on in this project’s hosting settings, but this site does not currently load either one’s tracking script, so neither is actually collecting anything today. If that changes, this paragraph will be rewritten to describe it: both are designed by Vercel to work without cookies and without storing anything tied to your IP address or identity, recording only things like which page was viewed, roughly where in the world from, and what kind of device and browser, never anything that could identify you personally.

If you change the display preferences on this site, for example larger text, reduced motion, higher contrast or the dyslexia friendly font, that choice is saved in your own browser on your own device. It is never sent to us and we cannot read it.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is being used: which pages get read, what gets clicked, roughly where in the world visitors are, and what kind of device they are on. Google receives your IP address as part of that. We do not use it to work out who you are.

Analytics only runs if you say so. Until you switch it on, nothing is requested from Google and no analytics cookies are set, and declining is a button on the notice rather than something buried in a settings panel. You can change your mind whenever you like through the Cookie Preferences link at the bottom of every page: switching analytics back off stops the tracking and clears the analytics cookies already on your device.

Nothing else on this site sets a cookie of its own, and there are no advertising pixels. Our typefaces are served from this site rather than from Google, so opening a page here does not tell Google that you did.

Our reservations pageshows Yelp’s Guest Manager booking tool inside our page. Everything you type into that booking tool goes to Yelp, not to us, and Yelp’s own privacy policy governs it. Loading that page also lets Yelp see your IP address and browser, the way any embedded content can.

The same goes for anywhere else this site sends you off to somebody else: our online ordering link opens Square, and our social link opens Instagram. Once you are there, you are on their site under their rules, not ours.

We use a small number of services to run the website and to receive your inquiries. They handle your information on our behalf, for the purpose we hired them for and nothing else.

• Resend delivers the email that carries your inquiry to us, so it handles the contents of that inquiry in transit.
• Google, in two separate ways: the restaurant reads its inquiries in a Gmail inbox, so your inquiry ends up stored there, and Google Analytics receives usage data and your IP address if you have switched analytics on.
• Vercel hosts this website and keeps the server request logs described above.
• Yelp, for reservations, as described above.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, for example a valid legal request, or where we need to in order to protect the restaurant, our staff or our guests.

An inquiry is an email in the restaurant’s inbox. It stays there while we are answering you, while your event is being planned, and afterwards as a record of the booking.

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email cybelrestaurant@gmail.com or call (727) 437-8166 and tell us what you want. We will need enough detail to find your inquiry, usually the email address you used and roughly when you sent it.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under your own state or national privacy law. Ask and we will do our best to honour them.

We aim to respond within 45 days.

This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information through this site, email cybelrestaurant@gmail.com and we will delete it.

If what this site does changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. If a change matters to you, for example if we start running advertising pixels or start storing inquiries somewhere new, we will say so plainly here rather than burying it. That is what happened on the date above: analytics was added, this page was rewritten to say so, and everyone was asked again rather than having an older answer counted as a yes.
